Veteran's Day posting

Today Is the day when people take a break and remember all the men and women who bravely fought in the various wars United States has waged.

There are many things going on around the city to celebrate this day, like parades and bands, which veterans can attend for free with their families.

I decided to go to Calvary, a catholic cemetery, with Aida. We were amazed by some traditions people have with their veterans who already passed away, like putting flags in their graves and engraving their resting place with an honorable explanation of what they did to become veterans, like fighting in World War I, II, Pearl Harbor, etc. Some families also leave some flowers in the grave of their fallen veterans.

We couldn't help notice how everything in the graveyard is clean and ordered, so it seems to me like a quiet nice place to rest forever.

In our way back we noticed that the homes of veterans have american flags outside of their doors, to make sure everybody kmows that someone in that family is a war hero.
